I have been disheartened since I was about 12 years old as I was told 

there was little that could be done to correct my smile.  After extensive work with Surrideo, I get up each morning and smile at myself. I am learning to smile again. While improving appearance has always been a part of any dental treatment (like a routine visit to one of our hygienists), recent advances in dental procedures and materials mean patients can achieve a beautiful smile through a variety of techniques and treatments. They include:

Whitening ~ The lightening of discoloured or stained teeth without altering the shape of the teeth in any way. This may be done in the office or with take-home whitening kits.  More on Whitening 

Veneers ~ Ultra-thin, custom-made porcelain laminates are bonded directly to the teeth. They help close gaps, change shape or disguise discolored teeth that do not respond well to whitening procedures.  And they achieve a perfect brilliant smile, customized to you.  More on Veneers 

Bonding ~ An enamel-like dental composite material is applied to a tooth's surface, sculpted into shape, hardened and then polished for optimal function and appearance.

Fillings and Inlays ~ Composite material to match your tooth colour can be used in place of silver/mercury amalgam fillings. Porcelain inlays are color matched and save more tooth structure than regular fillings.

Onlays ~ Used to protect fractured or damaged teeth from further damage, procelain onlays also match tooth colour. They extend over the cusps of the teeth and save more tooth structure than crowns.

Bridges and Implants ~ To fill the space where teeth are missing, a bridge -- two or more crowns and an artificial tooth -- may be used.  The latest technology uses a titanium implant in the jaw bone that supports the artificial tooth.

Porcelain Crowns ~ After removing badly damaged or decayed material, toothlike "caps" are matched to your tooth colour and cemented in place. 

Full Mouth Reconstruction ~ Usually elected when major changes to your bite are required, reconstruction restores all of  your teeth. A major benefit of this procedure is it allows you and Dr. Logan the opportunity together to preselect the size, shape and arrangement of your teeth.
